TERMS OF SALE

We comply with the Buyer's Act for business customers. For private customers, we adhere to the Consumer Sales Act and the Distance Contracts Act.

• WARRANTY

All Kamado Sumo models are sold with a lifetime warranty against defects in material and workmanship for the entire ceramic body, ceramic base, and lid to the original purchaser. The firebox and cooking grate are covered by a lifetime functional warranty. The metal, stainless steel, and cast iron components of the Sumo (including metal bands, hinge mechanism, cast iron top, grill grate, fire grate, and damper) are covered by a three-year warranty for the original purchaser. Wooden components (side table and handles) are covered by a one (1) year warranty for the original purchaser. The warranty for wooden products does not cover normal weathering or cracking, unless it also affects the structural integrity.

• PRICES

Prices on our website are quoted in EURO, including VAT.

• SHIPPING

Our deliveries are primarily sent via DHL and delivered directly to your shipping address. Grill deliveries are made to the property line. Package deliveries up to 20 kg will be sent to the nearest DHL service point. The normal delivery time is 3-5 days.

• DELIVERY

Always check your delivery carefully. If the goods appear damaged due to a faulty cardboard box, you must always unpack and inspect the goods themselves. In case of transit damage (physical damage to the goods), the customer must immediately contact the carrier and file a claim for the goods. Then, contact Kamado SUMO and provide your order or invoice number and the carrier's claim number. Alternatively, report the damage directly on our website /support for more information on repairing your damaged shipment.

• SALES

Sales cannot be made to minors or customers under 18 years of age.

• 14-DAY RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

In the EU, as specified in consumer protection legislation for distance and doorstep sales contracts, consumers have the right to withdraw from a purchase in certain cases by sending or delivering a notification to Kamado SUMO SL within 14 days from the date the consumer received the goods or a substantial part of them. The right of withdrawal only applies if the goods are in a substantially unaltered condition. In cases where depreciation has occurred during the opening and inspection of the goods, Kamado SUMO SL will charge the customer for such depreciation. The right of withdrawal does not apply to businesses. When exercising the right of withdrawal, you are responsible for return shipping costs. You will be reimbursed for the value of the goods. Costs associated with your order, such as shipping and payment fees, will not be reimbursed. Please note that our prices include shipping costs, but in case of withdrawal, direct shipping costs are non-refundable.

• COMPLAINTS

In accordance with the law, private consumers have the right to claim for defective goods at the time of delivery within 3 years from the date of purchase. The claim must be notified to Kamado SUMO SL within 2 months of discovering the defect. Defects occurring within 6 months of the purchase date are considered original. If the claim is not submitted within 3 years from the date of purchase, the private consumer loses the right to claim for the product. To facilitate processing, the customer must create a damage report before returning the goods. Please note that receiving a return number does not constitute an accepted claim. The invoice/delivery note must be attached, and the box must be clearly marked with the return number. The goods must be packed in outer packaging approved by the carrier and Kamado SUMO. Claims received by Kamado SUMO without approved outer packaging may be returned to the customer without any action, as they cannot be accepted for claim action.

• PRODUCT LIABILITY

If goods are damaged or lost during transport from us to you, we are responsible for the cost. If goods are damaged or lost when returned to us, you are responsible for the cost.
